Caritas give priority to programs through coordination of resources, planning and action to different organisation.
Preferential option for the poor- Caritas show Preferential Option for the poor by reaching the poorest people which requires a lot of effort. Caritas need time and money to be able to reach them. Dignity of a human person- Caritas show dignity of a person by making sure that they have respected and have right to live. They also help the poor people to have shelter, food and clothing. Stewardship of creation- Caritas show Stewardship of Creation by respecting, caring and sharing the creation of God. Caritas also help clean the environment and to have a recycling program. For example, recycling program can help people recycle things that they need and can save money. Subsidiarity and participation- Caritas show Subsidiarity and Participation by helping the local communities and asking the issues and concerns of the community. Caritas support, promote and develop decision making of the community so they can respond better to them. Solidarity- Caritas show Solidarity by assisting everyone regardless of their nationally, religion, political and economic differences. They have a meeting with the locals about house and water. Caritas also have leadership training. |
Jesus' mission
Jesus mission is to spread the Good News of God. He also teaches to love and help one another. His mission is also to help the sinners and teach us not to be afraid but to ask for forgiveness. He also died to pay for our sins.
People help jesus
The one who help Jesus is the apostles. Jesus teach them to be great people and help people and the apostles were sinners too and Jesus is the one who help them. After Jesus died the apostles spread the word of Jesus and teach the people to help one another.
Why Jesus come to earth ?
Jesus was sent by God to earth. Through Jesus, we were taught the Good News of God. He also came because he wanted to teach us how we could love and help one another.
Caritas did to continue Jesus' mission
Caritas continued Jesus’ mission by helping the poorest of the poor and by giving the poor what the need like shelter, food, water and electricity. They also teach the poor how to survive poverty just like Jesus did.
Why Caritas do it
Caritas continue the mission of Jesus because they do not want to see people suffering by giving food, clothing and shelter. They want to help, to show people that we are all equal in the eyes of God and that we should love one another as brothers and sisters.
